We will be doing 6 performances and most parts will be double and triple casted.  You will receive an individual email telling what parts your dancer will be.  I’m going to give dates now and more specific times for each group will be given shortly.  For the dancers not on pointe I will try to work out so they only have to be at 2 or 3 performances.  If you are not on pointe and can/want to dance every night let Sheila know.  The older dancers will be dancing every night unless you can’t be at a particular performance.

If there are any performances your dancer can’t attend let me know and I will work it out.  Please email me that information so that I have a record of it and don’t have to go from memory.  If you could let me know as quickly as possible it would be helpful.

I‘m assuming that everyone is participating unless you tell me otherwise.  Please email me if you are not participating within the week.

Concert fees will be coming out on November 1, $30 for one dancer $45 for a family.

Costume fees will be coming out on November 15  $15 first costume, $10 second costume and $5 for each additional costume.  The earlier date is because we are doing the performance earlier this year.

If you need me to spread out the costs please email me and let me know and I can do it.  I want to work with everyone to make it possible for all dancers to participate.

Act Two consists of:

Angels, candy canes, jesters, ginger snaps, Madam Ginger, variations,Clara, nutcracker prince and Drosselmeyer

Saturday November 30 10 am-5 pm dancers will be there in groups you don’t have to be there the whole time unless your in every scene We will running Dress Rehearsal for Cast 3 also.

Tuesday December 3 Dress Rehearsal Cast 1 First Act check in 6 pm 2nd act check in 7 pm.

Wednesday December 4 Dress Rehearsal Cast 2 First Act check in 6 pm 2nd act check in 7 pm

Warm-up class will given to all pointe dancers on stage 6-6:30 pm required attendance at the dress rehearsals and performances.

Please do not drop off the dancers at 5:30 pm and pound on the doors to get in we only have the building an hour before the show.

Individual pictures will be taken at the rehearsal on Saturday November 30 package information will be given soon.

Costume Fittings will be starting next week in class so if your dancer could be in class next week that would be great.

Professional video taping will be done for each cast and dvd’s will be available for purchase.

We will have a cast meeting on the November 30 rehearsal to discuss expectations of the dancers.
