Costume Check in and out

All hangers will be labeled with the dancers names on the hangers. Costumes will be labeled with the dancers name on them.  All costumes are to be returned on the same hanger which they were hanging on.  The parent volunteer will get all of the costumes for their group and assist the dancers in getting dressed then the parent volunteer will help the dancers put the costumes back on the hanger.  The costumes must be put back exactly the way they got them.

Make-up

Red blush blended into cheek bone, Red lipstick, eyeshadow browns, eye liner and mascara for older dancers only, eyebrow pencil for blond eyebrows to darken them.

Ballet dancers 

Pink tights good condition no holes or runs, Pink ballet shoes in good condition come with a leotard.  Older dancers a nude leotard. Younger dancers a white camisole leotard if they have one.  If they don’t have one wear a camisolle or short sleeved leotard.  NO UNDERWEAR tights act as underwear and we don’t want to see everyone’s underwear.

Bring street clothes so the dancers can sit in the auditorium after they perform.  The dancers will sit with their volunteer mom until intermission and then they can sit with their family.  Please follow this because it will be to disruptive if every parent comes to get their child in the middle of the performance.

NO JEWELRY, NO NAIL POLISH, NO EATING IN COSTUME!  If you are eating please take off your costume and eat in street clothes.  NO EATING IN THE AUDITORIUM please go out to the hall and eat.

Tap Dancers

No tapping in the hall only on stage.

Please be respectful of the facility and don’t touch things that don’t belong to you.  Don’t touch costumes and props that aren’t yours.

Hair

Contemporary:  Amanda will tell you what she wants for hair

Sheila’s Tap:  Girls hair in a pony tail, no bangs.

Swan Lake: 

Middle buns no bangs

Queen:  can have a half ponytail

The Little Mermaid:

Mermaids:  Ponytail no bangs

Grandma:  Ponytail

Everybody else a middle bun with no bangs

Remember pictures on Saturday at dress rehearsal
